Share a Prayer for Busy Moms/Dads

If you have kids headed back to school soon, you can write prayers on your blog related to school – starting back, uncertainty regarding the pandemic, prayers for kids taking tests, and so much more. Just think about everything kids encounter during the school year, and you will have plenty of prayers to share on your blog that other school parents can pray.

I used to work at a church, and many people told me one of the biggest ways I could help the congregation was to write prayers that busy moms/dads could pray for their kids.

If you are one of those busy moms/dads, you are praying already. If you write up what you pray and share it on your blog, you will be helping other moms/dads. And that will be a simple way to keep your blog going during those busy times.

If your kids are grown, I’m sure you can remember what prayers to share with younger parents. You may be praying similar things for your grand kids (or great nieces and nephews or neighborhood kids for those of us who don’t have children).

Also, I have lots of parent friends who find it even more challenging to pray for grownup kids and their situations. If you can write some simple prayers for different types of situations grownup kids encounter — the very things you pray regularly for your own grownup kids — I’m sure many parents will be thankful to read and pray those on your blog.

So, share a prayer (or two, or three) on your blog. You will be giving other parents a resource they can go to for prayer. Those back-to-school and test-taking prayers will be printed out and put on fridges. (How about a list of 10 things to pray regularly during the upcoming school year, and watch how God answers? You can attach a PDF version to your blog for fridge printing.)

You will have a simple way to keep your blog going during busy school times, by writing up and posting the prayers you are praying already.
