The new year is a great time for reflection: where we’ve come from, where we are, how we are continuing this amazing journey with Jesus.
This year, a song keeps going through my mind: “I keep falling in love with Him” by Lanny Wolfe. I first heard this song when I was a teen in our youth choir musical, Greater Is He.
The words go like this: “When I first fell in love with Jesus … I thought I couldn’t love Him more … but now I look back over the mountains and the valleys … I love Him so much more …”

The beautiful part of reflecting on the journey is recognizing how your relationship with Jesus is deepening and growing.
As you spend time with Him and get to know Him, your relationship develops so may new qualities in deeper ways. It’s alive and filled with discovery and peace. And much greater appreciation for who He is and who you are to Him and in Him.
As you begin your new year, take time to reflect on your amazing relationship with Jesus. Ask Him to renew your vision and understanding of who you are together. Thank Him for always being faithful and continuing to reveal who He is.
And make a prayerful commitment to spend more time just being with Him in the new year. God bless!
