God Is the Same
We sang a song yesterday in church, a song I haven’t heard in a while: “Pass It On.” I grew up singing that song in our youth group and at church camp. Singing it today brought me right back to those early years. Based on the comments around me, others felt the same remembrance. It … Continue reading God Is the Same
What Does God’s Creation Show Us?
I was doing a lesson about God’s creation in my favorite Bible study app, Wize Peeps. They mentioned two Bible verses about how God’s creation gives us a glimpse of who God is: Romans 1:20: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood … Continue reading What Does God’s Creation Show Us?
Praying the Bible: Straight from Scripture
One of the simplest ways to pray the Bible is to read a passage of scripture to God. Remember, prayer means talking to God. When you read to Him from the Bible, you are praying. A Bold Prayer: Learning from Moses (Exodus 32:9-14)
One of the most surprising prayers in the Bible appears in Exodus 32:9-14. Take a moment first to read that passage. Bible Refreshment

I’ve lived up north, where this relentless cold is expected. But here in the South, we usually get a break here and there. … Continue reading Bible Refreshment
Heaven Touched Earth
As Christmas approaches, I remember my trip to Bethlehem. It was 15 years ago, but I remember like it was yesterday. I didn’t expect it to impact me as much as it did. The atmosphere in Bethlehem wasn’t peaceful as in other parts of the Holy Land. A lot of strife and hostility in the … Continue reading Heaven Touched Earth

Jesus Is Sitting
In a Place Where He Will Meet Someone A prayer inspired by the woman at the well Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to meet me. You don’t hide from me or avoid me. You make Yourself known to me, and You have come to live among us. You want to live in my heart … Continue reading Jesus Is Sitting
God Is Our Safe Place
Bible Verse “I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” — Psalm 91:2 NIV Reflection Much of my life right now is focused on puppyhood. I have a five-month-old Yorkie puppy that needs a lot of attention. I feel like the Lord keeps teaching … Continue reading God Is Our Safe Place
